Operation DAWN
On September 28, 2024, Scott Ritter asked what you would do to:
Save Democracy
Save America
Save the World
in November?
Scott asked you to empower yourselves.
To vote “no” to nuclear war in November.
We sent a message to the political elite of America that we the people were mad as hell, and that we were not going to take it any more.
The election is over.
Only one side responded to our efforts to engage on the subject of preventing a nuclear war, and that side won the election.
Now it is time to hold President-elect Trump and his administration accountable for what they say and do in our name.
Democracy doesn’t begin and end at the voting booth on election day.
It is a constant process of informed citizens ensuring that their elected representatives never forget who they serve, and to ensure that the policies being formulated and implemented conform to the will of the people.
President Trump said he was against war, including nuclear war.
Let’s hold him to those commitments.
And to drive home the importance of this cause, we are making available for download the song “Daydreams” that premiered at the September 28, 2024 rally in Kingston, NY. Performed by Scott’s daughter Patricia, the song is a haunting reminder of what is important in life, how fragile life is, and why we must do everything possible to prevent nuclear war.
